Grief Tending & Community Building Weekend
March 23 to 24th, 2019
Winter is a time for tending to our inner self and cultivating our energy for the coming spring. From the trauma of the recent fires and the turmoils throughout the world, many of us are holding much more on our hearts and minds this wintertime. Join us for a self-guided weekend of nurturing activities to help us tend to the grief we are carrying and to build our strength as a community.
- Shared Meals
- Grief Council Circle of Support (guided by Malama MacNeil)
- Wood fired sauna
- Evening outdoor fire
- Morning movement - yoga and stretching
- Solo time

Located at private residence in Cohasset, 40 mins from Chico, register for directions
Limited to 30 participants - 18yrs+
For persons who identify as women and non-binary
No children - infants under 1yr. okay
--$35/pp *scholarships available for women of color and people displaced by the Camp Fire, contact us for more information.
--Registration through Eventbrite. Participants may pay through credit/debit card or PayPal online or by check/cash in person.
--Registration open until full, or until March 15
Overnight indoor floor space or tent camping - BYO gear
Limited indoor bed spaces available for those who are not able to camp - $10 additional (bring your own bedding)
B.Y.O. Lunch for Saturday and snacks
