Statement of Inclusivity
We recognize that biases, behaviors and social structures can either favor or harm individuals because of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity and socioeconomic status. We aspire to create a welcome, affirming space for all participants at the Weaving Women’s Wisdom gathering.
We understand that the work of acknowledging privilege and power, and understanding and exploring differences between us, is ongoing. As organizers, we are committed to learning, reflecting and acting to weave our different identities together in ways that honor all participants. At the gathering, we aim to create opportunities for meaningful dialogue, recognition and community celebration through workshops, ceremonies and group activities designed to nurture a deeper authentic connection to each other.
Please help us on our path. Let us know if there is some way that the gathering could be more welcoming to you and others by contacting us at weavingwomenswisdom@gmail.com.
