About Us
Weaving Women's Wisdom is a three-day gathering for women and girls of all ages in Butte County. This event focuses on Women's Wellness, Earth Skills, Herbal Medicine, Movement, Arts and Crafts, and more. Through workshops, ceremonies, sacred space, and nature connection, we come together to celebrate, honor, and learn from each other.
The gathering starts on Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon. There is an intentional flow to the gathering to create a deep and magical experience, including opening and closing ceremonies. We invite participants plan to stay for the entire gathering to experience a sense of wholeness.
Participants camp within the forested setting of Lake Concow Campground, and share nourishing meals, wisdom & skill share sessions, song and ceremony.

Who is WeWoWis?
The organizing team has taken on different shapes and sizes over the years as we have grown and evolved as an organization. Currently, we function like a tree:
- Roots - Our multi-generational wisdom holders that offer guidance, reflection and support to the Trunk and Branch teams throughout the year.
- Trunk - A small team of experienced event contributors that maintain basic processes and make sure the core elements are stable and healthy for the branch teams to grow come springtime
- Branches - Lead & support team members that collaborate to create the unique specialty areas and elements of the event.
- Garden - Women and girls of all ages that show up to the gathering with their full hearts, minds and hands and offer their presence and skills to the gathering, including workshop presenters, work traders and all general participants.
